The Raiders laid en egg Monday night on their home field against the Los Angeles Rams in head coach Jon Gurden in Oakland.
One of the reasons why was the team’s inability to get pressure on Jared Goff, which may or may not have something to do with trading away the best pass rusher in all of football just a week ago.
Rams quarterback Jared Goff was able to throw for 233 yards to go along with two touchdowns against the Raiders D, and here’s what Gruden had to say
“When you can run the ball like they ran in the second half, it’s very hard to rush the passer,” Gruden said, via James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area. “Obviously, we didn’t get to Goff enough, and we didn’t get to Gurley enough. We’ll take a good look at the reasons why we didn’t.”
