New York Yankees fans have been wondering for months when they will finally get their 2017 reigning Rookie of the Year and AL MVP runner-up, Aaron Judge, back in the lineup.
After being activated from the DL on Friday, the 26-year-old All-Star has yet to be cleared to hit. Manager Aaron Boone has stated that he believes the restrictions will be off any day now.
Judge has been out since July with a chip fracture in his right wrist and has been slowly eased back into action. Though, Boone expects he’ll get plenty of opportunities at the plate once cleared before the team prepares for the postseason.
Fantastic news for the Bronx Bombers who have failed to get hot in their last 10 games going 5-and-5 while the Boston Red Sox close on an AL East crown.
With Judge’s bat back, the Yanks become an entirely different ball club with the potential to down any contender come October.
