Aaron Judge Broke This Epic 96-Year-Old Babe Ruth HR Record on Saturday

Aaron Judge had a historic first half, and he’s done a nice job of closing out the season with a hot streak in late September.

While we’ll never know just how good a season Judge could’ve had this year had he not slumped so hard during the summer, he’s still broken plenty of records.

Judge’s latest conquest is a record set by Babe Ruth 96 years ago.

Judge set the record for most home runs at home in a single season. Babe Ruth set the record with 32 back in 1921, and the record stood until today.

The Yankees have had some prolific power hitters since then, but none of them hit 33 in front of the home fans until Judge.

This actually says a lot about Judge, who clearly likes home cooking.  Of his 52 home runs on the year, only 19 have come on the road. That’s not to say that Judge hits cheap shots, because today’s bomb went 484 feet.
