Villa Park has been the home of Aston Villa since 1897 with several developments since then. However, certain areas need refreshing according to Operations Director Ian Dimmock, which was announced on the official site.
The stadium is one of the most recognizable in the country due to its history and size which is fitting for a club of Villa’s size and stature.
As with most stadiums, though, certain areas need redeveloping in order to keep up with the modern age.
Here’s what Dimmock had to say about the plans: “Due to it being closed for the majority of the season, A Block has been forgotten a bit.”
“I would love to replicate that across to the other stands. I am gutted our fans aren’t experiencing that on matchday.”
“We are putting some initial proposals together at the moment but I certainly think it would be a good move. A Block has nice, bright colors, an awesome look and feel that every fan would be proud of.”
