Two years ago, Robert Eddins saw his life come to an end at the age of 28-years-old after his body was found in the basement of a home in Detroit, along with another man.
A new indictment helped to clarify what happened that night and now three people are under arrest for the slayings. The former Buffalo Bills linebacker and Ricardo McFarlin were shot and killed ‘execution style’ by three cocaine dealers, according to TMZ.
All three were attempting to deal more than five kilos of cocaine and heroine according to the report. The men traveled from Alabama to Detroit specifically to kill Eddins.
Eddins went undrafted out of Ball State in 2011 before playing briefly with the Buffalo Bills. He eventually signed to play with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.
