Chelsea star Juan Cuadrado spent the past season on loan at Juventus, with the Serie A side having a verbal agreement to sign him for around €20m at the end of the season.
Reports in Italy have suggested Antonio Conte is a big fan of Juan Cuadrado, just like he is a big fan of every other Serie A player, so he wants to keep the Colombian at Chelsea next season.
However, it turns out Cuadrado isn’t a fan of Conte, and wants to stay at Juventus, reports Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
We’re guessing his Colombian teammates might have told this to Gazzetta. Maybe that’s how it works.
Moving on, Juventus could try to keep him in Turin, but it’s very unlikely they’d spend too much on him, as they’ve already signed Dani Alves.
Cuadrado made 40 appearances for Juventus this season, with quite a few of them being substitute appearances. Should Conte play three at the back then the Colombian is absolutely perfect for a wingback role.
