Buendía is on loan at Cultural from Spanish side Getafe CF, who play their football in Spain’s top-tier competition. He has made four appearances for Cultural since his loan move, adding two assists in his 236 minutes of football. He has also featured once in the Copa del Rey, scoring once in the 4-2 win against AD Alcorcon.

Football-wise, the Argentinian-born midfielder has 72 combined appearances for Getafe (37 appearances – three goals/one assist)  and Getafe B (35 appearances – seven goals/one assist) and has experience of 21 games (one goal vs Levante) in La Liga

Before arriving at Getafe, the youngster spent a year (2009/10) on the books of Real Madrid. He represented Spain at Under-19 level, before switching his allegiance to his native Argentina for whom he has four Under-20 appearances and two goals.
