The next New York player to go down was Wilmer Flores, who broke his nose by fouling a ball off his face Saturday.

Flores is having a decent 2017 campaign, hitting .271 with 18 home runs and 52 RBI. He’ll likely have to miss some time now, though it’s not a huge deal for the Mets, given that they’re not even close to a playoff spot.
The much bigger deal is, of course, taking a ball to the face.
