Mike Krzyzewski lays down the lay with NBA teams with interesting new rule

Mike Krzyzewski is a legendary coach in basketball who has, incredibly, never coached in the NBA.

What he has done on the college circuit with Duke and for Team USA, though, has been nothing short of incredible.

After returning from the Rio Olympics with his third Olympic gold medal, Coach K closed the door on his national team exploits and has turned his attention to coaching Duke full-time.

His legacy with the college is almost unparalleled. He holds a record of 970–262 with Duke and has won the NCAA championship five times.

Players like Kyrie Irving and Grant Hill have come from the esteemed university and Krzyzewski has two top freshman forwards who are potential lottery picks in Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum on a team that is stocked with talent once again this year.

However, he’s not exposing them before they are ready.

NBA teams were invited to pro days on October 19 and 25 at Cameron Indoor Stadium, Yahoo Sports reported on Wednesday. It’s the first time the Blue Devils have utilised a pro day format.

“All other practices will be closed,” Duke told NBA teams in an email.
