NFL Superstar Unleashes 4 Word Bombshell on Reporter Pushing Him to Protest Anthem

Football season is right around the corner, and with that means people are watching closely to see if last season’s widespread national anthem protests, started by former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, will be repeated.

This is an issue that has divided both players and fans. However, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott believes the issue is actually quite simple, Dallas News Sports Day reported.

While being interviewed by senior producer at Yahoo Sports Evan Doherty, Prescott was asked if he “felt the need” to participate in any sort of protest this year. He answered with four epic words that will have a lot of people cheering.

No, not at all,” Prescott stated succinctly.

Doherty, clearly not satisfied with that answer, asked him to elaborate further.

“I mean, it’s bigger than I think some of us think,” Prescott explained. “It’s just important for me to go out there, hand over my heart, represent our country, and just be thankful, and not take anything I’ve been given and my freedom for granted.”

You can watch the exchange here:

It’s refreshing to hear someone express gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy in this great country. If only all the other NFL players could understand that and see how ridiculous their protests are.

While any NFL player who takes a knee during the anthem is certainly within their constitutional right to do so, it nevertheless reveals their great ignorance.

While screaming that America is oppressive, they simultaneously enjoy their right to protest, build extremely successful careers, and otherwise live as they see fit
