On the Montreal Canadiens …

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Bob McKenzie: Yesterday it was sounding like things were dead quiet on the Hampus Lindholm – Anaheim Ducks front.

On the Toronto Maple Leafs and Dallas Stars …

Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun: Though he says he’s not worried about his goaltending, Mike Babcock is worried about his goaltending.

The Stars have made defenseman Jamie Oleksiak available for trade.

On the Pittsburgh Penguins and Marc-Andre Fleury …

Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: (chat) When Matt Murray returns from his injury, the Penguins could send Mike Condon to the AHL and hope he clears waivers. They could then bring Condon back if they trade Marc-Andre Fleury. The Penguins could also look to trade Condon.

The Penguins will go with a 60-40 or 50-50 split with Fleury and Murray when the latter returns. The Penguins will likely have to make a decision on Fleury before the end of the season. They will have to look at showcasing him for a trade.

On the Winnipeg Jets and Jacob Trouba …
