The future of Odell Beckham Jr has been discussed a lot so far this off-season.

The New York Giants wide receiver had an injury-plagued 2017, but before last year, he was one of the hottest prospects in the NFL.

Beckham came into the league in 2014 as the 12th pick of the draft – and had a rookie year for the ages, breaking a number of records.

After missing the first four games of the season, he had at least 90 receiving yards in all five games in November – something no rookie had ever done before.

In December 2014, Beckham became the first NFL rookie with at least 12 catches, 140 yards, and three scores in a game.

He didn’t just impress by breaking NFL records. Against the Dallas Cowboys, Beckham made a one-handed catch and that will go down as one of the greatest in history.

Well, that’s what Cris Collinsworth, Tony Dungy, Victor Cruz and LeBron James all thought after Beckham caught the ball while diving backward at full stretch, using only three fingers.

Oh – and there was also a call of pass interference, which made it even more impressive.

Beckham continued his good form through 2015 and 2016. Although his team didn’t have much success, the wide receiver went to the Pro Bowl in all of three of his seasons before 2017.

There’s no doubt that he’s proved himself as one of the best players in the NFL on the pitch. However, it’s his behaviour off of it that’s thrown his future into doubt.

There’s no question that he’s got the potential to have a Hall-of-Fame career – but at the moment, the Giants are contemplating trading him.
