After getting thoroughly Altuve’d Thursday night at Minute Maid Park, Boston Red Sox skipper John Farrell is shuffling the deck for Friday’s ALDS Game 2 in search of a much-needed spark:
Bogaerts SS, Pedroia 2B, Benintendi LF, Betts RF, Ramirez 1B, Young DH, Vazquez C, Marrero 3B, Bradley Jr. CF

Compared to Boston’s Game 1 lineup, every spot has changed unless your name starts with B. Bogaerts, Benintendi, Betts, and Bradley are staying put, but Farrell is opting for five changes elsewhere.
While Dustin Pedroia moves up from the sixth spot, four Sox will make their first 2017 playoff starts: Hanley Ramirez takes first base duties from Mitch Moreland, Chris Young supplants Eduardo Nunez at DH, Rafael Devers gives way to Deven Marrero on the hot corner, and Christian Vazquez is in for Sandy Leon at catcher.
Some are…not thrilled about the Devers move.
