When Liverpool paid Newcastle around £25 million for Georginio Wijnaldum during the summer transfer window, it might have seemed like a hefty fee, but it’s an absolute bargain when you take into account that the midfielder is a real-life magician.
Wijnaldum has endured a bit of a quite start to life at Anfield, but seemed more relaxed on international duty with his fellow Netherlands players this week.
The Dutch are facing a tough opening 2018 World Cup qualifier away to Sweden tomorrow night, and after failing to qualify for Euro 2016, the pressure is on Danny Blind’s side.
But if things aren’t going their way during Tuesday night’s fixture, they can just summon up Wijnaldum – who appears mysteriously able to conjure up balls from out of nowhere:

This clip was taken from the Dutch training camp on Monday afternoon, and obviously is nothing more than a confusing optical illusion – or is it?!
